IMMERSING LISTENERS IN A UNIQUE UNIVERSE, NELLA DELIVERS A MODERN TAKE聽ON SOULFUL SONGS.
Born in Venezuela, Nella rapidly rose to international fame thanks to her powerful voice and undeniable presence. In a short period of time, she went from graduating from Berklee College of Music to winning the 2019 Latin GRAMMY庐 Award for Best New Artist. That same year, her full-length debut,听痴辞测 (I Go), produced by the award-winning Javier Lim贸n for Casa Lim贸n Records, garnered praise from NPR and featured the hit 鈥淢e Llaman Nella鈥 (They Call Me Nella). The title track was named the 14th best song of 2019 by聽The New York Times, spanning all genres.
Merging Venezuela鈥檚 folkloric roots, modern production elements , and inspiration from Andalusia, Nella鈥檚 music echoes globally. She has sold out venues across the United States, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain, and the UK, and has performed with renowned artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Luis Enrique, and Susana Baca. She has also collaborated with Jennifer L贸pez, Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Vives, Monsieur Perin茅, and Los Amigos Invisibles.
Academy庐 Award winner Asghar Farhadi invited Nella to join the A-list cast of his film聽Everybody Knows, alongside Academy庐 Award winners Javier Bardem, Ricardo Dar铆n, and Pen茅lope Cruz. Showcasing her talents, she performed songs written by Javier Lim贸n exclusively for the screenplay. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival to enthusiastic applause.
Nella鈥檚 voice has captivated notable musicians, including Maestro Gustavo Dudamel, conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, who invited her to perform a song composed by him for a documentary on the artist Cruz Diez.
In early 2020, Nella signed with Sony Music Records and released her second album,聽Doce Margaritas, in 2021. She also participated in the HBO album and special聽Piano y Mujer聽with Irish-American pianist Arthur Hanlon, collaborating with great artists such as Kany Garc铆a, Natalia Jim茅nez, Evaluna Montaner, and Goyo.
En Otra Vida聽is Nella鈥檚 third album, immersing listeners in a unique universe of talent with a distinct and delightful creative concept. Staying true to her original sound, Nella pays homage to the great women composers of Latin American music, offering new versions of classic songs and collaborating with artists, song-writers, who come together to celebrate Spanish-language composers.

En particular, el ganador del 脫scar庐, Asghar Farhadi, la reclut贸 para unirse a su distinguido elenco para su film聽al lado de Ricardo Dar铆n y los tambi茅n ganadores del 脫scar庐, Javier Bardem y Pen茅lope Cruz. Iluminando sus talentos, Nella interpret贸 canciones escritas por Javier Limon especialmente para el gui贸n聽 . Se estren贸 en el Festival de Cannes ante una ovaci贸n un谩nime.

聽supone el tercer 谩lbum para la artista venezolana Nella, un trabajo que nos sumerge en un universo de talento muy particular y con un caracter铆stico y delicioso concepto creativo. Fiel a su sonido original (a煤n si cabe ahora reforzado), Nella hace un homenaje a las grandes autoras de la m煤sica latinoamericana, versiones de grandes temas donde se rodea de artistas, mujeres que componen y se unen en esta celebraci贸n de las compositoras en espa帽ol.
