Scam artists on the telephone use lies, deception, and fear tactics. We will discuss many of the different scams such as: grandparent scam, IRS scam, Lottery & Sweepstakes scam, phantom debt collections etc.

Join us on Thursday, December 11th, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, as we take a tour of the NJ Superior Court, Ocean Vicinage.

Location:ÌýJustice Complex entrance, 120 Hooper Avenue in Toms River

Learn about the Court Resource Center and how staff can help answer questions, locate legal resources, and assist in understanding court forms and procedures as well as provide referrals to community services. We will conclude our tour with a presentation by the Domestic Violence Unit and Providence House, offering insightful information about the cycle of domestic violence, available supports and what to expect when filing a restraining order.
